I just added a post to our adoption blog--I'm slowly 'filling in the blanks' telling the story of how God has built our family through adoption and what life has been like these past 5+ years.
As former orphans our girls were often subject to the 'whims' of their caregivers and/or the dictates of poverty. Consequently, when our girls both decided to grow out their hair (because they COULD) and donate it (because the WANTED to), we seized the expected and unexpected opportunities that brought for teaching and training!
