I am very grateful to the Lord for our local church family. Each and every one of them is used of God in my life and the lives of so many others--just as God designed!

I am so thankful to God for many, many, many, "simple pleasures" in my life! One of which, is enjoying quiet times at home reading, pondering, studying, lingering--often times with a cup of hot tea.

May I never stop thanking the Lord for the privilege, joy, and blessing of being a "full-time" home maker. I know there are women who long to do this--I've only been doing it for a little over 11 years--so I never want to take it for granted. Thank you Lord for the immeasurable blessing of "keeping the home fires burning", and serving my husband, daughters, and others from home base.

I am deeply thankful to God for friends. Through them, God has encouraged me, challenged me, strengthened me, rebuked/corrected me, spurred me on to love and good deeds, even carried me at times! Next to God's blessing of family, His blessing of good and faithful friends is priceless.

I am so thankful to the Lord for my dear husband! God has seen us through over 30 years of blessing and trials--through it all testing and strengthening our relationship to Him, and to each other.
