I wish you better fortune than my California (Berkeley) Golden Bears. We've been in the top 10 3 or 4 times in the last 5 years. Last year we made it to #2, and #1 LSU lost earlier in the day, and a freshman quarterback tried to run for a touchdown and got tackled on the two yard line with no time outs while time ran out. We were that close to #1. Ouch.
steve: That is pretty much 'normal' with/for my Cowboys--so close, yet so far! Over the years, it has done wonders to teach me humility! :-)
