Know Your Adversary...

I just love this dialogue between two of the main characters in "Hunt for Red October", because it reminds me of how we as Xians MUST know our adversary!

Captain Marko Ramius: "You speak Russian?"

Jack Ryan: "It's wise to study the ways of one's adversary."

On a completely different but funny note, this was much how it was in the early days with our girls when they knew only Russian--hubby and I had to know as much Russian as we could while we worked to win their hearts! :-)
