25th Wedding Anniversary ~ Bed & Breakfast: View From Our 'Private' Veranda

As I mentioned earlier, we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary recently and stayed at a beautiful and quiet Bed & Breakfast!

When I discovered this B&B on the internet I was instantly 'won' by the description of the room we ended up selecting,

"This stunning room with hardwood floors and antique four-poster bed is an exquisite escape for two. Decorated in soothing shades of copper and green this room opens onto the rear veranda and looks out into the treetops with an excellent view of the bird and squirrel activity. Very private. Located on he 2nd floor of the Main House with a Queen size bed and private bath with tub/shower combination."

We enjoyed lots of quiet moments together on our private 'veranda' reading, chatting, watching several very frisky squirrels, a MULTITUDE of hummingbirds, and various other birds common to the area.
