Recognize that face above (sorry it's a little blurry)? I don't think she knew I was taking her picture at this time (duh, she was busy talking to the Harris twins!), but because I really like 'candid' shots I gave it a try! Give up? That's Kim from Lifesong!
And this smiling face is that of none other than, Lisa from Deo Volente!
What a special treat to get to meet Kim in person, and get to see Lisa again since her family moved from our area several years ago. I'll admit, this just made me a little more jealous of a couple of bloggers I know (Carla and Kim) who apparently get together over a hot cup of coffee (tea?) and delicious treats to visit, discuss, and encourage each other!

It can be a lot of fun to meet online folkses, face to face. I think it would a great idea if someone with superb organization skills set up some sort of a summer blogfest for us evangelical bloggers to attend and meet everyone. (In a fairly central location of course, so we could all attend!)
Yep, I think that would be a fine idea, and I know it would be well attended, and everyone would have a blast.
What funny picture of me! Candids are always the best!
I'm so glad we were able to meet!!! We must plan something...another get together with Lisa and whoever else could join us! It is fun to have blogging friends, but even better to actually meet!
kim: I probably should have asked your permission to post that, but I thought it was a flattering 'candid' so I went with it! :-)
It was so much fun to see both of you up there! I knew there was the possibility of getting to see Connie and the girls, though meeting up with you guys unexpectedly at the same hotel was even more fun. *squeal*
...but I had no idea I would get to see you, Kim. That was quite a treat considering we had "talked" about wanting to meet since we are in the same state. We really should have a blog gathering. If we offer free coffee and chocolate, maybe we can convince Jen to come. :-D
*sniff, sniff...*
Did someone say coffee and chocolate?
jen: Unfortunatly, for now I guess we'll have to settle for 'cyber' coffee and chocolate!!! :-)
