Nov. 7 - One thing I'm thankful for this time every year is the beautiful fall foliage!
I know, I know, it doesn't compare to those beautiful colors found in New England, or north of the border, or the spectacular aspens in the Rockies. But, this is home --my home--and I'm most grateful for the beauty surrounding me!
And, a "bonus thanks" is that God gave me a husband and children who share my enthusiasm over such simple pleasures!!

Me, too.
It's my favorite season to watch, as these warm, comforting colors are painted all across the landscape!
Texas has a very, very special place in my heart; but the fall seasons here in MN. are absolutely breathtaking...our drives to church on Sunday mornings during this time of year, are my favorites!
kristine: Funny that you mentioned Texas! I almost commented on our eight(+) yrs. in Texas while DH was doing his undergrad. and grad. work!!! I/we enjoyed the warm climate, but I missed the COLORS! Texas has a whole different element of "colors" it's landscape!
