Dead or "mostly" dead?

I just can't help it, when the discussion of spiritual death comes up I'm reminded of this Monty Python sketch where they discuss "dead" vs. "mostly dead". Folks, dead is dead!

There's a part in Princess Bride that's similar, where Miracle Max pronounces Wesley "mostly dead, and is later described as having been "mostly dead all day."

I always think of the same thing; spiritually and theologically, it is the same as phyisically--we are either dead or alive, there is no in between state of "mostly dead" or even "partly alive."

I forgot to mention that I am having trouble viewing your site. Probably just a blogger thing.
