Our lives reflect our theology, our theology reflects our knowledge of God--what are our lives telling others about God?

A Few of My Favorite Things...
My china pattern is Royal Doulton's "Old Country Rose". I can't remember when I became 'smitten' with this beautiful china, but 17 years ago when my dear husband offered to buy me a set to show his appreciation for helping him through seminary I jumped at the chance--and shed more than a few tears!

Oh, that is lovely, Connie! I think that pattern is so pretty! I wouldn't mind finding myself a teacup and saucer in that!
clarissa: I occasionally see cups and saucers in antique/thrift/flea markets.
Most recently I saw several in a shop in downtown B.A.--the shop south of the candle shop (Secret Garden candles????). I don't remember the price, but you can also check ebay for good prices. :-)
shawn: Oooohhhhhh, a china cabinet--that's what my "Old Country Rose(s)" need! Maybe I can convince dear hubby to add on to our house so I can fit in a china cabinet! I imagine your wife is delighted!
Yes, she's quite happy about it. There was a good spot in the corner of the kitchen and we found an inexpensive one at Ikea. Also, we're now able to use our former "good" dishes as everyday dishes.

My Mom recently gave my wife her full set of Royal Albert "Winsome". We ended up buying a china cabinet to hold it.
