My dad passed away early Thursday morning, he was 77 yrs. old. I'm sure I'll have more to say about dad in the days to come, but for now I covet your prayers.

I am praying for you and your family, that God's presence will be apparent, that the Comforter will be real, that you can rest in His peace.
Oh, Connie, I am so sorry.
I will pray. May God comfort you with His tender presence.
So sorry for your loss, Connie.
My prayers are with you.
I know you must be hurting. I'm praying for your comfort and for the rest of your family as well.

Praying for you Connie. I am so sorry about your loss. I'm here if you need me.
Ladies, thank you so much for your prayers and kind encouragement. Tomorrow will be the graveside service--small and intimate--which I imagine may be the most difficult time for us all.
Still, His mercy and grace has been abundant--I'm confident will continue to be!
Connie, I am so sorry to read about the loss of your Dad. The picture that you posted reminded me of one we have of my own dad from 1999.
I'll be praying for you, and your family.
I will be praying. I am so sorry for your great loss.

I have only come across your blog to-day, but I will pray for you and your family as you deal with God's providence in your life.
May our God grant you the comfort you need at this time as he has promised to do.
I lost my dear mother in January and can testify that especially in the valleys God is good to those who are his in Christ.
