Calvinism with a feminine touch

When I saw this graphic of Jean Calvin over at Libbie's blog, I instantly loved it--okay, maybe coveted a bit, too. So, I asked her if I could use it and she graciously gave me her blessings. Thanks Libbie!

I love it because it not only represents the theology I embrace, but it also reflects my twisted sense of humor! I only hope Jean won't hold this against me when we meet in glory.

BTW, while the tulips make an obvious point (T.U.L.I.P.)--I think the classic style purse/bag is a nice practical touch necessary for toting around Bible, laptop, and misc. study aides . :-)

Connie, it got a laugh out of me. If you haven't read Lisa's post http://www.4ever4given.com/, yet today, you need to. That's another post that got a laugh out of me today.

Connie, So that the masculine audience out there won’t be offended maybe you should call it a 'man purse.';D

A friend emailed me this comment after seeing Calvin all dressed up and ready to go, "I wanted to comment, 'And who says Bible-thumping radical conservative reformed God-fearing Bible-belters don't have a sense of humor!'"

Exactly! :-)
