When all is said and done, I'm learning to trust less in man and more in God--how unAmerican!!! :-)

Carla: That's what I thought was neat--it clearly struck a nerve in both of us!!

Clarissa: I hope I don't give the impression that I'm opposed to voting or helping in campaigns, God has granted us those freedoms--for now. I stepped out of "obscurity" last year and voted just so that our daughters could see/witness the whole process. And, I'm doing my best to educate and prepare my oldest daughter who will get to vote in the 2008! My first opportunity to vote was a Presidential election, I voted for Ronald Reagan (and again four years later)! :-)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16388126339087271102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33237905.post-19481117542850658832007-01-21T18:45:00.000-06:002007-01-21T18:45:00.000-06:00I know what you mean, friend. "Who is Lord of the Universe?" "Is He able to keep all I have entrusted to Him toward that day?" And, of course, the answer is a resounding yes. So, I do vote, I might even help out in a campaign, but I know that whatever the outcome, it won't surprise my Abba and He is still in control!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33237905.post-86736153594946822632007-01-21T16:09:00.000-06:002007-01-21T16:09:00.000-06:00I hadn't read your post before mine, but it IS fun...I hadn't read your post before mine, but it IS funny how alike our thinking is on this one.Carla Rolfehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09395062089776262435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33237905.post-82412815858048825322007-01-21T11:02:00.000-06:002007-01-21T11:02:00.000-06:00Connie, as much as I would love to have you here, ...Connie, as much as I would love to have you here, you don't want to live in Canada if you are Republican. I know people who are moving to Canada because they don't like all the Republicanism in the U.S.

But I would love to have you!!Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02288648996304246570noreply@blogger.com
