I tested out 'left' brained at a ration of 10:8 the first time. Like Elle, I thought a couple of ?'s needed the "It depends" option. So, I decided to re-take it and be very thoughtfully and brutally honest, (thinking I'd end up back the way I 'was') and I STILL ended up a 'leftie' with an even bigger spread: 11-7! :-0

Now, to put this in perspective, I was totally an airhead in college...(yes, that hysterical laughter is Connie & John, saying 'Whaaaaaat?") I was really spacey, and REALLY struggled with any logical/sequential endeavors. My academic college grade point avg. was terrible. But put me in the fine arts, and I was right at home. I needed to see/perceive the 'whole' concept, so I could understand how the parts worked to get there. (A world of thanks to Carrie P., who made math make total sense to me back then by explaining the whole-to- parts relationship.)

And yet, today, it's the daily discovery of the beauty in how both creation and its created 'parts' consistently and efficiently point to the "whole" Creator God that I worship. I'm talking from nanotechnology to the galaxies - all the 'new' knowledge only points back to the 'old' Truth, and makes it richer and more relevant. I really do see God in the details today. I worship the 'whole' God much more deeply because of the "parts" He has revealed for me (as I am able to process them). This is just astounding to me at the present, because it is such a huge change from the person I always considered myself to be!

Well - "Ditto" Elle's sentiment: this was a neat link, and really helped me tonight as I struggle in teaching my "right" brained son. It sure explained why we often experience the inability to communicate efficiently with each other. Hmmm - and I thought he was just being a stubborn teenager. ;*) Love, KarenKarenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07884991231870210245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33237905.post-75120092981269120682008-04-09T13:16:00.000-05:002008-04-09T13:16:00.000-05:00preacherman: Thanks for stopping by and for your w...preacherman: Thanks for stopping by and for your words of encouragement!

While my main goal/desire is to challenge sisters-in-Christ to consider and wrestle with their theology, brothers are certainly welcome to walk along with us! Not sure what that says. Thanks for a fun link.Lisa Hellierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247624724011594390noreply@blogger.com
